Welcome from the Chairman and Founder

Welcome to Orbital Education. This website will introduce you to the Group as a whole and provide summary information, but, more importantly, links to our schools.
Although Orbital is a relatively new company, the expertise behind it is of long standing. I have personally founded international schools in more than a dozen countries.

Since Orbital was founded in 2005, the group has grown fast and in keeping with the plan I formulated. I envisaged a group of international schools and colleges offering quality education, mainly in British style and tradition, to expatriate and host nation families in countries throughout the world. Some of our schools were acquired from former owners and educationalists; some we founded ourselves. To date, we operate in Russia, Spain, Hungary and South Korea.

The schools benefit from the central services and supervision that an experienced team of educationalists and managers provides. My team here at our head office near Manchester are united in the belief we share with our school heads: quality and accountability are paramount and lead to success for our students, security for their families and material progress for the company.

British International Kindergarten Opens New Campus in Seoul, South Korea
 Orbital Education is delighted to announce the recent opening in March 2011 of a new campus to add to its British International Education group in Korea.The new school is in the upmarket residential/commercial area of Cheongdam.   It is housed in a delightful and unique building which has won a number of architectural awards.  Designed originally as an art gallery the building boasts beautiful spaces and is full of light and character. It adapts well to providing the stimulating experience which the British curriculum gives its young  learners. Children find its ambience at once cosy and exciting.
The  British Headteacher of the new school is Mrs Emma Haworth, who has extensive experience of the management of the learning of young children in the UK, USA and in Korea.Mrs Haworth is excited about her new role and says, ’The first British International Kindergarten in Hannam has rightly achieved a pre-eminent reputation in Seoul for innovation and high quality international education and for creating a stimulating but warm and nurturing environment for young children.   Hannam’s success means that in some ages there are waiting lists. I intend to replicate the quality and success of the Hannam school but, of course, I will put my personal stamp on it’.
