Project Headteachers

The Orbital Education group of schools is growing rapidly. We already reached 1000 pupils aged from 3 – 18 in our schools within just four years.

As well as the continued growth of our schools in Moscow, Mallorca, Budapest and Seoul, we are actively involved in new and exciting projects in Russia, Central Europe and East Asia.

All our schools offer, mainly to expatriate communities but also to host communities, teaching and learning opportunities based on the English National Curriculum adapted to suit the needs of an international community.
 
We shall have a variety of exciting opportunities for Headteachers in our new schools over the next year. As well as the usual energy, commitment, drive, motivation and strong leadership etc you usually find is such adverts for Headships, we will be most interested in receiving your cv if you can further demonstrate the following:

- having a vision which can take a new school in an international setting from opening to a pupil roll of over 300 children aged 3 – 16 in two years (up to age 18 in future years)

- an understanding why expatriate parents prefer a British style curriculum in an international setting

- success in the creation of such a curriculum which maximises learning opportunities for all children

- an understanding of the complexities involved in managing an international school

- adaptability and creativity in the solution of seemingly impossible situations

- a strong commercial awareness and an understanding as to how this forms the platform for solid school development planning

- successful experience in a variety of marketing initiatives

- how you have used feedback from all stakeholders to establish a climate of continuing improvement.

Whilst you might think you need International Headship experience for these posts, this is not necessarily the case. We can support and guide you regarding what you need to be aware of in this area. You do need to convince us though that you are a motivated, skilled and experienced educator who cares deeply about children’s learning, can be inspirational in their practice and excited by the challenges on offer.
